Whatever you think of Spitzer's ridiculous peccadillos, it's worth noting that just a few weeks before he was busted he went on the attack against the federal government for bailing out the banks that led poor and working people down the garden path toward home ownership, only to pull the rug out from under them when they couldn't pay, rendering them homeless, and shaking our economy—what a scam! The mainstream media has all but ignored this part of Spitzer's story, preferring to chase interviews with pimps and hookers. Oh, Rove, what a wonderful legacy you have left. The quality of our national debate is in the sewer.
