Rosebud #290

Last night, in the House of Representatives, Congressman Dennis Kucinich presented 35 articles for the impeachment of President George W. Bush. You won't see much about it in the news. A commenter on YouTube asks, "Where is the corporate media? A [House] member introduces 35 well-documented Articles of Impeachment and it doesn't even rate a crawl on the screen of the major "news" networks?"

The index of the articles of impeachment is below. You can read the full text of each at www.afterdowningstreet.org/bush.

Kucinich delivered a strong, well-reasoned case for impeachment. To listen to it was to feel at once outrage, disgust, and something close to terror. These are the real terrorists, the ones in office in Washington. How is it facile to say so? They have bigger weapons, a bigger army and they have killed more people in their illegal wars than all the terrorists on the planet combined.

I wonder why all the pundits spouting off about why Obama "can't win" the national election fail to even mention the Republican elephant in the room: they might try and steal this election, as they stole the elections in Florida in 2000 and in Ohio in 2004. (See Kucinich talking about Ohio at www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ii9sI_s3kWc. And for a refresher course in Florida, watch Recount this month on HBO.)

The mind boggles at exactly who these people are.
